Who taught you what you were supposed to love?
I Feel Like I Should is a podcast built around a simple idea: most of us have loved things because we thought we were supposed to.
Each episode begins with a song or band that a guest once felt they should love but didn’t. Sometimes it was a favorite of their friends. Sometimes it came from family, culture, or a time when fitting in mattered. That tension becomes the way in.
From there, host Keith Lane draws on his background in photojournalism and filmmaking to have conversations about identity, family, work, belief, and the expectations that shape who we think we’re meant to be.
I Feel Like I Should isn’t about judging taste. It’s about asking where our “shoulds” come from and what happens when we begin to question them.
