Who taught you what you were supposed to love?

I Feel Like I Should starts with a simple idea: most of us have loved things because we thought we were supposed to.

Each episode begins with a song or band that a guest once felt they should love but didn’t. Sometimes it was a favorite of their friends. Sometimes it came from family, culture, or a time when fitting in mattered. That tension becomes the way in.

From there, host Keith Lane draws on his background in photojournalism and filmmaking to have open conversations about identity, family, work, belief, and the expectations that shape who we think we’re meant to be.

I Feel Like I Should isn’t about judging taste. It’s about asking where our “shoulds” come from, why we carry them, and what changes when we begin to question them.
